When you search for a remote job, you are hit by information. Often it is not easy to decipher what is legal and what is not. While we can provide advice on how to avoid employment fraud and where to find a legitimate job, many job seekers still feel uneasy about applying for remote jobs.
The Better Business Bureau is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help consumers find trustworthy businesses. On its website, consumers can read reviews, file complaints, report rate companies, and report fraudulent operations. This is why researching jobs in home-based businesses on your website is a practical place to start a remote job hunt.
BBB has several ways of ranking companies. The first model is the A+ sul fr grading system. This is delivered from the Better Business Bureau itself. The second rating comes from the consumer, with a 1-5 star rating, with 5 stars being the best. The final distinction is BBB certified. This means that the company is paid to BBB members and adheres to its ethical business practices.
To retrieve some of this uncertainty from a remote job search, we have compiled a list of companies with an A+ rating on the BBB website.
1. Adecco
Adecco is a staffing agency that allows you to find legitimate work from home opportunities. To find a job from home on their website, select the “Remote Jobs” toggle in the left sidebar. Adecco receives an A+ rating at BBB.

Alorica is another job at a home company with an A+ rating with the BBB. They hire English-speaking, bilingual customer service and technical support representatives. Arolica offers paid training, flexible schedules and perks. A high school diploma or GED is required, and customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
3. Dynata
Dynata is a market research company that employs in-person and remote employees in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, Bulgaria, France, Hungary, India, Italy, Romania and the Philippines. In addition to being one of the world’s largest market research companies, they also employ full-time and part-time positions in a variety of categories, including sales, technology, project management, customer service, partnerships, professional services, research science, management, and more. 4. Astrion
Asurion hires remote workers for customer service, supply chains and various corporate roles. To find a work-from-home job on your career page, look for a position called Remote or WAH. Times are flexible, but individuals should be able to use it during normal business hours. You work as an independent contractor in these roles and a bachelor’s degree is desirable. Belay has been hired in all states except CA, MT, NJ, NY and PA, and maintains an A+ rating in the BBB.
6. Bold
Bold, who owns FlexJobs, not only maintains an A+ rating with BBB, but also has an ACCEditing with the organization. In addition to hosting many remote and flexible jobs on the job board, Bold hires remote workers in the US and Poland.

Most of the positions I’ve seen require previous experience and is due to full-time work, but there are many benefits and perks.
7. NexRep
NexRep not only has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, but also allows you to launch remote recruitment on a flexible schedule. With NEXREP, you act as a customer support agent and help your customers through phone, email, social media, text and chat. No prior experience is required. However, you need to have excellent communication skills and have access to your own computer, webcam and high-speed internet. NexRep employs independent contractors from 33 states. LiveOps is a virtual call center company with an A+ rating with BBB. Hire independent agents to perform inbound and outbound calls, chats and emails for customer service, customer acquisition, customer retention, revenue maximization, political and disaster relief, incident response, and financing. With this self-employed independent contract gig, you will have to pay for a $24.99 background check.
13. Answer assistant
Answer assistants will hire virtual and bilingual virtual receptionists in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, or Texas. Answer Aide allows you to work part-time or full-time hours. Starting wages range from $13 to $16 per hour depending on experience and skills, with full-time workers eligible for benefits. 15. TEC
Another task for a home company with an A+ rating is TTEC. Not only does TTEC have a good reputation, it has been in business for over 40 years and employs worldwide. Remote recruitment includes customer service, sales, internships, technical support, corporate roles, and veteran and military spouses jobs.
16. Toluna Influencer
Toluna Influencers is a platform where you can earn points to get surveys, respond to polls, introduce friends, create content, and play the game. 19. Capital 1
If you’re looking to work with a large banking company, Capital One offers a variety of face-to-face and remote roles. Positions include customer service, engineering, finance, operations and more! Capital One offers competitive salary, comprehensive benefits and holds an A+ rating in the BBB.
20. Zurtur
Zirtual will hire a US-based virtual assistant to tackle administrative tasks for its clients. These work from home is the role of a full-time, independent contractor that requires 4-7 years of experience. The starting wage is $1,500-3,800 a month, and yes, Zirtual has an A+ rating with the BBB.

What else should I check besides my A+ rating in BBB?
A high BBB rating is just one of the job indicators from the reputation of home-based companies. However, that’s not all that you should consider. Many legal companies may not have a rating on their sites or have a bad rating. When looking for a job that has a good reputation in your hometown, you need to look at the big picture.
Another way to avoid scammers is to see reviews on GlassDoor.com. Glassdoor allows employees to leave anonymous reviews about the company, allowing them to see if the company has an active work environment and mission. You can also learn about hidden fees, pay and employment benefits.
