If you’re looking for a remote job on Facebook (also known as meta), this post explains!

Perhaps we know Facebook as one of the world’s largest social media platforms. But did you know that Meta owns subsidiaries such as Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp, Meta Quest, and workplaces? With this big reach there are many ways to build your work from your hometown career path with the tech giant!

If you’re enjoying your time on Facebook and want to work from home, here are some remote Facebook jobs and opportunities to make money, as well as scams you need to know.

1. Social Media Evaluation Job

Like search engine raters and ad raters, this role involves logging on to social media sites such as Facebook to search for keywords and terms for quality and relevance. However, before you start, you need to pass the online assessment test. These roles must be detailed, tech-savvy and up-to-date with current trends. For these freelance jobs, you can apply to CrowdGen by Appen, RWS, Telus Digital and Welocalize. In these positions, you work as an independent contractor, but have a lot of flexibility as you can work when you want (as long as you’re in time for the deadline). These companies hire workers from all over the world.

2. Facebook Ads Manager

If you find the key to running effective Facebook ads, there are plenty of business owners who will pay you brilliantly to run, manage and evaluate Facebook ads. These positions are sometimes referred to as paid media specialists or digital advertising specialists. These remote jobs can be found on sites such as FlexJobs, Brafton, Izea, Raptive, and more.

Another way to work as a Facebook Ads Manager is to start your own Facebook Ads Management Agency from home. If you’re not sure where to start, Bobby Hoyt has created a course called Facebook Side Hustle. I have not taken or reviewed the courses myself, but I highly recommend it because my friend Christine believes in the budget.

3. Social Media Moderator

As a Facebook moderator, you will oversee Facebook groups and pages to ensure that group rules are followed, answer questions and keep spammers at bay. In this role, you will not work directly on Facebook. Instead, they work for business owners and creators who need help with Facebook pages and groups.

4. Social Media Manager

Social Media Management is an all-inclusive position, medium content, etc., creating content, responding to queries, running and assessing social media campaigns. These jobs are usually secured by completing a marketing degree, social media experience, or online course. Often, these roles require familiarity with multiple platforms, including Twitter (X), LinkedIn, Tiktok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram.

META offers a variety of remote marketing roles, so you can start your job hunting there. You can also find social media positions at marketing agencies, large and small businesses. Staffing agencies such as Robert Half and Kelly Services are great for finding one-time remote employment opportunities.

If you want more control over your time, offering freelance social media services is a great option. You can post your services to sites like Hubstaff Talent, Upwork, Fiverr, or make suggestions for clients directly. Read this article to learn more about starting your own social media business.

5. Content creator, influencer, or publisher

For content creators who create unique content online, Facebook offers a variety of options to monetize content and expand your influence.

Currently, Facebook has several in-house monetization methods for creators.

  • Video and story ads
  • Earn stars from live videos
  • Fan Subscription
  • Sharing music revenues
  • Brand content

To make money in these ways, you need to be an established brand, content creator, influencer, or business on Facebook with at least 10,000 followers. Each monetization method has specific criteria that must be met before it can be applied to the program, but once these milestones are met, you can apply for consideration.

I don’t know how they can choose how they will participate in each program, but I’m currently subscribed to monetizing content and earned around $175 last year. I’m not that active on Facebook, but if that’s the case, I think it can grow soon. I don’t do live on Facebook, and I haven’t tried to subscribe or share music revenue. However, if you decide to create content for Facebook, you can reuse Tiktok and YouTube content. Both offer monetized content programs.

You can also monetize the impact of Facebook Through affiliate marketing or by selling your own products directly On facebook. Whether you want to create branded products or sell prints, e-books, courses and services, there are many ways to make money from Facebook audiences with Facebook notifications and Facebook plans.

6. Sell things on Facebook Marketplace

One great feature of Facebook is that you can buy and sell products for free using the Facebook Marketplace. You will need a personal Facebook account and profile to access the Facebook market. Once logged in, go to the small shop icon and use the search filter to add items or browse products. You can find almost every category in the sun, whether it’s cars, clothing, electronics, toys, entertainment, free stuff, or even groups.

Follow the prompts to sell your items. Add keyword-rich descriptions and high quality photos. If you are interested in the items that a person is selling, you will receive a message via Facebook Messenger. Facebook Marketplace is completely free for users to use. However, you will need to arrange a pickup spot to exchange items for cash.

Like anything else, you need to protect yourself from scammers.

If you accept cash, make sure it is not a counterfeit product. Do not accept a check or pass the product without proper payment. You can also view your personal profile to see if you have actual contacts or if your profile looks fake. Facebook Marketplace offers suggestions here to avoid scams.

7. Remote Facebook work

Go to the site to find a new job, then select the Location and Remote search input. Facebook is used in a variety of career areas, including AI, advertising technology, business development, communication, data, design, engineering, finance, legal, operation, people, research, sales, marketing, internship, VR, and more!

If you have not found a job related to your current job selection, create a career profile. Here you can get personalized job alerts, puzzle coding, and guidance from the Meta AI Recruit Assistant.

For non-pro-employees, Facebook has a hybrid work model in which in-person employees work from home three days a week. Also, most managers seem to have a lot of flexibility when it comes to scheduling.

In addition to accepting remote work and being an equal opportunity employer, Meta offers many benefits to its employees, including health and wellness plans, paid family leave, 401(k) plans, paid leave, fairness, pay transparency and more!

Beware of remote Facebook job scams

Many people want to work on Facebook, so scammers want to capitalize on this enthusiasm by promoting fake Facebook jobs. In the fraud detector, two are “Facebook Fortunes Home Income Flow” and the other is “Facebook Bonanza.”

Clicking the Apply button on these occasions will be directed towards the landing page where you will need to enter your credit card information to get the starter kit. It’s like a simple Google profit scam that was ramping a few years ago. Once you have your credit card information, your account will continue to be billed monthly for this fake information.

The other employment scam you have to be careful about is a scammer who pretends to be a Facebook recruiting team. This type of scam allows Facebook to receive emails, texts or calls saying they want to interview for a remote job. However, it is not Facebook. I’m a scammer pretending to be Facebook. Legal companies do not use free email accounts such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, and do not interview third-party messaging apps such as Telegram, Signal, WhatsApp.

If you are unsure whether your job is legal, take your time and study the opportunities extensively. Check out websites such as The Better Business Bureau and GlassDoor.com. It can provide a wealth of information. If your recruiter is contacting you, check their identity on LinkedIn and make sure they use a professional branded email address. You also need to track all your applications to see if you applied for the job. If you need a system to stay on track and safe from scams, check out the job of a home carrier planner.

Conclusion: Remote Facebook Work

Whether full-time jobs from working from home are profitable or you need a part-time gig that offers a better work-life balance, there are many legitimate money options that revolve around Facebook. The hiring process on Facebook is very competitive so put your best feet in front of you with a sophisticated cover letter and resume. And don’t forget to practice answering common interview questions loudly until you feel confident in your answers!

Good luck. Please let us know if you have decided to apply for these jobs.
