With these platforms, you can create online lessons at home and publish them using the upload tool.
These platforms have built-in customer audiences, but you can also use a variety of social media platforms to promote your classes online. Earn cuts from each class on sale. Revenue depends on the length of the class, type, the number of classes you create, and the platform you are using. Teaching online opens availability to students around the world. Therefore, it is not limited to teaching music locally. If you are considering a career as a music lover, teaching music online is a great option.
2. Freelance music provider
Do you know many famous singers who don’t write their own lyrics or music? Reading the liner notes of Pink, Katy Perry and other rock stars will discover the entire team behind each song. A village is needed. And if you’re supported by writing lyrics, mixing music, composition of songs, directing music videos, directing press releases, and graphic design for album covers, you can become part of the team.

Now you won’t get rich from these sites (usually paying a few cents per song), but if you like learning about new artists and supporting a variety of music, it’s a fun way to get in the first floor. 5. Private Music Teacher
Some people are born with natural talent, while others have to work for it. And then the vocal coach comes in and teaches projection, breathing techniques, vibrato and pitch. If you have vocal or instrumental skills, share others by coaching them online. To work with aspiring singers and musicians, sign up for platforms like musicteacher.com and Lesson Face. These platforms allow you to create an account and view your expertise. Once approved, you can connect with students who need expertise. Each platform will reduce lesson fees slightly, but incorporate an audience of people who need the service.

Use music streaming websites, radio stations, music performance venues, and even music curators to help you find and plan your music lineup. Imagine selecting talent and creating playlists of your favorite artists to attract listeners. Better yet, this side gig can be done from home! To become a music curator, set up playlists on platforms like Spotify and share your playlists with others. You can also use social media to promote your music and tag artists that appear on your playlists. Building your audience can be monetized through affiliate products, brand sponsorships, artist promotions and more.
You can also search for gigs on freelance sites such as Freelancer and Fiverr, or check out a single submission that connects artists and curators, SoundCampaign or PlayListPush. If you have good ears to music and love curating the perfect playlist, this may be a fun opportunity.
7. Music Therapist
Music is powerful and has the ability to shape our emotions, and even our mental and physical health. Music therapists utilize our auditory responses to use music interventions in a therapeutic setting. This may mean encouraging clients to share their emotions through songwriting, to use music to inspire relaxation, to deal with trauma, and to look up lyrics as a platform for discussion.
Music therapists require a bachelor’s degree, often a master’s degree in music therapy, and clinical training and certification. According to GlassDoor.com, the median salary for a music therapist is between $66,000 and $106,000 a year, depending on education, experience and location.
Some music therapists work from home, and FlexJobs occasionally lists opportunities for qualified candidates. Another place to explore these positions is the American Music Therapy Association.
8. Music Trance Scriber
Transcription is the job in which spoken words and sounds are transferred into written form. Transcriptists often work in the medical and legal industries, but they can also work in captions and yes, music. Bilingual transcriptionists are often responsible for translating songs’ lyrics from their native language, ensuring that others understand the lyrics and meaning. Music videos may require captions due to hearing loss. Music transcriptors can play it on another instrument, such as a guitar, as they may work to transfer parts of piano music. Music transcripts need strong knowledge and excellent ears in music theory.

Even if you’re an avid singer, songwriter, music producer and want a creative outlet, it’s never been easier to create your own content and share it with the world! Whether you use YouTube, Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, etc., the opportunities are endless!
To start creating content, select the genre and platform you want to use to publish your content. Once your account is ready, start creating your regular content and building your fan base.
