You’ve probably heard of Qmee, but is this survey platform worth your time? In this Qmee review, we have everything you need to know about the platform from a real-life user.

When it comes to get-paid-to (GPT) sites and apps like Swagbucks and FreeCash, I’ve tried most of the big ones with varying results. But in a veritable sea of survey and gaming apps, Qmee has become one of my favorite sites for its higher payouts, better selection of surveys, and a low minimum cashout.

While other apps tend to require a lot of time to rack up rewards and a much higher number of survey declines, the Qmee app is a fairly reliable way to rack up some real cash for small purchases like gas or snacks. I’ve also found it perfect for passing the time while I’m hanging out in the passenger seat on family outings or two-screening it on TV nights.

Here’s a breakdown of how I made a little more than $60 in just a couple of months taking surveys.

How Legit is Qmee?

I usually find out about these types of GPT platforms from my survey app-loving friend Lisa, which means they’ve already been vetted by someone I trust. But I actually learned about Qmee while browsing r/beermoney on Reddit, where I kept bumping into reviews like this one: “Qmee is the one place I can always earn every day with no problem. It’s so easy to cash out as well.” And given Qmee’s 3.9-star rating on Trustpilot, it seems many users have had a similar experience.

Feeling particularly frustrated with survey apps where I’m constantly kicked out of surveys after investing 10 minutes or I can’t cash out my earnings because I’m just short of the cashout benchmark, I decided to give Qmee a whirl. And I was not disappointed. Whereas I’ve struggled to hit the $5 minimum on some apps even after a month of use, I actually managed to earn (and more importantly, cash out) more than $60 in a little over two months.

Getting Started With Qmee

Qmee is one of the few survey platforms available for folks in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the United States. According to their website, the platform is available in the “US, UK, CA, AU, FR, and DE.”

Unlike a lot of other cash rewards platforms where you’re stuck with just an app or an app and a minimally useful desktop platform, Qmee has a free app available for iOS and Android and an online desktop platform available at Qmee.com. Although I have had good results with both the app and the desktop site, a lot of Qmee users on Reddit seem to feel the app yields better survey offers.

The Qmee dashboard is pretty streamlined and user-friendly. There’s even a dark mode for folks like me who find it a little easier on the eyes. You’ll find that feature on a drop-down menu at the top left of your screen, where you can also access your account settings, privacy settings, FAQ, terms of service, and other general information. There’s even a survey tips section housed within the app and a blog full of Qmee information on the desktop site.

Across the screen, Qmee features tabs for “Surveys,” “Cashback,” “Deals,” and “Gaming.” Finally, to the top right of the app or platform, you’ll find your Qmee piggybank with a running total of any money you’re owed.

After you’ve downloaded the app, click on the drop-down menu and locate “Survey Profile” under “My Account.” Taking the time to fill out your biographical information will improve your chance of finding the best paid survey options by connecting your profile with survey partners looking for folks like you. For example, I get a lot of surveys looking for parents of teenagers.

While you’re getting started, note the “Explore Qmee” tab under your drop-down menu. Here, you’ll find suggestions for things you can do to increase your success on the site.

How to Use Qmee

One of the things I love most about Qmee is just how darned easy they make it for users to earn. Like most survey/gaming apps, Qmee incentivizes users with a streak for daily use.

But if you’re like me and you tend to stay too busy juggling jobs and/or kids to log in and bust out 15 to 20 minutes on a survey each day, no worries. While some other survey platforms will penalize you for skipping a day by killing your streak, Qmee will preserve your streak if you just take a second to log on and fill out their fun daily poll with questions like, “What’s the best way to spend a Sunday?”

Qmee offers a few main ways to earn:

1. Cashback offers

Qmee’s cashback offers work like cashback offers on similar sites. Basically, if you spend money on a website or app, you get some of that money returned to you as credits in your Qmee Piggybank. Most of these appear to be gaming apps, but my Qmee also contained an offer for $10 cashback on your first order with Naked Wines.

The app also features a “Deals” section where users can access discounts, digital coupons, and free trials on a pretty long list of apps and web stores. Here’s a sample of the deals available as I am writing this:

  • Free $20 bonus on the Acorns financial app
  • 10% off on Perfume.com
  • $10 off on AliExpress

2. Gaming apps

I did not get too deep into Qmee’s gaming because I personally found that the survey options were a quicker way to make money.  But if you prefer to earn money by gaming, one thing I do appreciate about Qmee is the variety of gaming options to choose from. My Qmee dashboard includes about 30 games, most of the puzzle or match variety.

They also appear to have some pretty thick payouts if you have the stamina for it. Like most of these GPT apps, each game has its own set of checkpoints that start off at just a few cents for low-level checkpoints. Stick it out long enough, and they start to stack up. For example, there’s an RPG called Ever Legion that claims to pay out up to $354.73 for users who hit Chapter 31 within 45 days.

3. Surveys

Qmee’s surveys were where I made most of my money. I’ve seen far too many GPT apps where the survey rewards fell in the less than 10-cent range for up to 15 minutes of users’ time. All things considered, Qmee has pretty decent payouts. For example, my current list of available surveys ranges from about a quarter to $1.25, but I’ve had past surveys pay out as much as $2.01.

If you’ve done a lot of survey apps, you know how common it is to invest a good five minutes getting partway through a survey only to get unceremoniously kicked. Although it’s not always the case, a lot of Qmee surveys actually pay you a sort of consolation prize for this (usually about 9 cents, but I’ve received as much as 35 cents for this).

The dashboard offers about a dozen surveys at a time. Each survey lists the general topic (things like “universal topics” and “market trends”) and expected time, with most ranging anywhere for four to 25 minutes.

Specific topics can be related to anything from political topics to market research. I’ve done a ton of surveys on things like cool new food ideas or marketing for new TV shows and movies. Every once in a blue moon, I even get a sneak preview of a new TV series that is still going through the audience testing phase.

Because the surveys are fairly customized to users’ bios, the quality of offerings I’ve experienced has leaps and bounds above some other survey apps, where I can try a half dozen surveys before getting accepted into one. And that makes it so much easier to earn. One night this week, I racked up $10 in survey earnings just casually using the app while watching “Raising Arizona.” While it’s hardly enough to make me wealthy, that’s certainly more productive two-screening action than I’d get scrolling Facebook.

Just be sure to pay careful attention to which answer you’re selecting on these surveys, since they can include questions meant to weed out inconsistencies.

4. Referrals

Qmee’s referral program rewards you $1 when you invite friends and they cash out for the first time. Users can choose from one of three personalized affiliate links to share based on whether they want to keep that dollar, split it with their buddy, or give it to their friend.

How to Cash Out with Qmee

One thing I really love about Qmee is that users don’t have to wait to cash out in specific increments like they do with most apps. There is also no required waiting period between cashouts, which means you can keep cashing out funds all day as long as you’re earning them.

While I don’t have personal experience with the gift cards and charity options, I have used both PayPal and Venmo and found that both deposit pretty quickly (in a matter of minutes sometimes). That means ostensibly, you could spend an hour or two doing surveys and pick up a few bucks to buy your own lunch in a pinch.

The app offers four ways to cash out:

1. PayPal

The one potential downside of Qmee is that all Qmee users are required to have a verified PayPal account to pay out, even if they’re using another payout method, which could be an issue for users who share an account with a relative (something I learned from experience). However, the flip side is that there’s no minimum cashout threshold on PayPal withdrawals. There’s also no withdrawal fee on cashouts, which means you actually get to keep everything you earn.

2. Venmo

Unlike Qmee’s PayPal withdrawals, there is a $1 minimum for Venmo cashouts. There’s also no fee, and deposits usually arrive in less than 5 minutes.

3. Gift cards

Qmee has a ton of gift card options to choose from favorite brands like AMC Theatres, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bath & Body Works, CVS, DoorDash, Dunkin’, Fandango, Google Play, Grubhub, Hulu, Krispy Kreme, Olive Garden, Panera, Papa John’s, Petco, Spotify, Starbucks, Target, Uber Eats, Walmart, and Xbox, among others. Cashout amounts vary depending on the offer (for example, Xbox cashouts start at $15).

4. Charitable donations

Qmee also allows users to donate their earnings to the American Red Cross, the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, or the Lymphatic Education and Research Network. There’s no minimum on these donations.

How Much Can You Earn With Qmee?

I first signed up for Qmee in early 2025 and tested the waters, but I didn’t really get into the platform until a couple of months ago when I realized it was the perfect time-killer for long car rides.

Qmee’s cashout page gives users a breakdown of their earnings with some very cool little personalized graphs and charts. According to mine, on top of the quarter currently in my piggybank, I’ve cashed out $42.56 on Venmo and $19.81 on PayPal, with much of that falling between July and August. Almost all of that came from surveys, with my highest paying survey coming in at $2.01 for a survey on August 10th.

Alternatives to Qmee

Qmee Review Conclusion: Final Advice on Earning With Qmee

Like all GPT survey and gaming platforms, you’ll have the best results if you log in regularly, since this increases your chance of connecting with the best surveys. Take your time and help the survey sites get the type of feedback they’re looking for, and you’ll likely see a better selection of customized offers down the road.

Qmee is a good site to have in your pocket for those idle moments when you’re sitting in the passenger seat, waiting on the oven to bake, or hanging out in a waiting room. But it can also be a good site to have in your corner if you just need to pick up a quick $10 that you can actually access right away.
