Las Vegas CES 2025 and the redefinition of Canaan’s domestic Bitcoin mining
As anticipated, the new revolutionary devices by Canaan were presented at CES 2025 in Las Vegas:
On one hand, the Avalon Mini 3, with a Hashrate of 37.5Th/s, offers a unique dual-purpose solution, combining efficient Bitcoin mining with home heating. On the other hand, the Avalon Nano 3S, with a Hashrate of 6Th/s, is an affordable Bitcoin mining device more suitable for beginners.

Chinese companies compete in Bitcoin mining
Canaan Inc is a computer hardware manufacturer based in China. Founded in 2013 by N.G. Zhang, Canaan specializes in Blockchain servers and ASIC microprocessors for Bitcoin mining.
And speaking specifically about Bitcoin mining, recently another Chinese giant, Bitmain, has also made headlines, showing clear competition in the sector.
In fact, already in December, Bitmain had announced its intention to expand in the USA for its ANTMINER S21 Pro line, promising that the delivery of the first batch would take place by the end of the same month.
Not only that, in this new month of the year, Bitmain would have also conquered the mining giant based in Singapore, BitFuFu. Their biennial agreement stipulates that Bitmain commits to providing the company with up to a maximum of 80,000 miners.
